Crafting Quality Tiny & Modular Homes with Passion and Purpose!
The Founding Story
Great Lakes Tiny Homes was founded in 2016 as a Michigan-based company and is now proudly owned and operated by David Miller. Based in New Bedford, Ohio, David has been an entrepreneur for years and is all about supporting the local community. He and his wife, Edna, live only a few miles from the business with their children, they also own and run the New Bedford Feed Store.
What began as a curiosity about tiny homes soon became a calling. David’s desire to provide meaningful work for friends, family, and neighbors led him to build a few custom homes with a small team. After delivering these unique homes and seeing the joy they brought to their new owners, he discovered a true passion—and Great Lakes Tiny Homes was reborn with a renewed mission and purpose.
Our Team & Craftmanship
Today, we operate from a 15,000 sq. ft. indoor facility in Baltic, Ohio, where our dedicated team of skilled professionals brings every home to life. We’re proud to employ talented Amish carpenters and craftsmen who bring over 100 years of combined experience to every build.
From standard models to fully customized designs, we are committed to building high-quality, lasting homes with attention to detail and pride in our workmanship.
