We had lived in a tiny home on wheels during the pandemic. Once we bought our forever home, we had to figure out what to do with the tiny house. I had a wonderful experience working with John and Great Lakes Tiny Homes to implement a custom design. The home was designed with off-grid features like solar power and a propane-powered toilet, so it was not the standard model in any means. Every piece of the home was custom and hand-designed in CAD. Which the Great Lakes Tiny Home team took-in, cleaned-up, and produced to the exact spec of the design. Which included some tricky custom furniture and other high-end features. All executed perfectly and tied together in a truly unique home with unparalleled functionality. Perhaps most interestingly, the ability to hitch-up the home and move it at will while it maintains power and functionality. The only issue with the home with the brakes on the chassis. Other than that, the home has been awesome. Truly a testament to the power of designing a custom home and having it built in a controlled facility.
