We love the freedom of having a small space to live in, furnish and keep clean – now we can spend more time and money on travel and experiences! My favorite part is the kitchen/living room area. It feels solidly built and cozy. We have lots of windows so it’s bright – I also love the cupboards and the easy flow of the main living space – it lives big ;)

We had lived in a tiny home on wheels during the pandemic. Once we bought our forever home, we had to figure out what to do with the tiny house. Great Lakes Tiny Homes was wonderful to work with. The team was friendly, supportive, and delivered a build that exceeded my expectations. I chose them because they were the only company where a real person answered the phone—and that personal touch carried through the entire process.

I had a wonderful experience working with John and Great Lakes Tiny Homes to implement a custom design. The home was designed with off-grid features like solar power and a propane-powered toilet, so it was not the standard model in any means. Every piece of the home was custom and hand-designed in CAD. Which the Great Lakes Tiny Home team took-in, cleaned-up, and produced to the exact spec of the design. Which included some tricky custom furniture and other high-end features. All executed perfectly and tied together in a truly unique home with unparalleled functionality. Perhaps most interestingly, the ability to hitch-up the home and move it at will while it maintains power and functionality. The only issue with the home with the brakes on the chassis. Other than that, the home has been awesome. Truly a testament to the power of designing a custom home and having it built in a controlled facility.
